Green Car is a new age eco-friendly car powered by solar energy. It runs by an electric motor which is powered by a battery bank that is charged primarily through solar energy and also by 220V AC as alternative charging method.

Intelligent Security & Surveillance System

The project is on Video Analytics, a new technology that automatically detects the situation and alerts the concerned person without physical presence of any person to the monitor. Intelligent Security and Surveillance System uses Video Analytics and VMS, and it is becoming extremely essential for Building Security, Perimeter Protection, Safety, Asset Protection and Business prospects etc.

UGV - Unmanned Ground Vehicle

Unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) is a project on Robotics. The vehicle operates without an onboard human presence. UGVs can be used for many purposes where it may be inconvenient, dangerous, or impossible to have a human operator present. The vehicle will have a set of sensors to observe the environment, and will either autonomously make decisions about its behaviour or pass the information to a human operator at a different location who will control the vehicle through teleoperation.

Hand-on projects

Under the guidance of experienced faculty members and industry experts, the students are involved in various live hands-on projects. The practical experience on interdisciplinary engineering fields gives the real engineering insights to the students.Unmanned Aerial Surveillance An aerial vehicle, Quadcopter has been developed for surveillance. The quadcopter will get necessary thrust for uplift from four rotors at its four corners. It will be tele-operated and a camera mounted on the quadcopter for real time wireless surveillance.

Interactive Robot

A humanoid robot has been developed for the promotion of the Institute. The robot will tell the asked information about the institute in voice. The robot will be self driven; it will find its path by itself.

Home Automation & Surveillance System

Home Automation & Surveillance System (HASS) is an intelligent system to monitor and control the building. This system would help in managing and controlling the appliances (i.e. light, fan, A.C., T.V., Refrigerator etc.) being used inside the building and also facilitates the video surveillance.

Perimeter Protection for Security & Surveillance

Security and surveillance system is always a major concern. Presently the CCTV surveillance system records all footage and a person is required all the time to monitor all transmission on display screen. Video Analytics is the new technology which automatically detects the situation and alerts the concerned person. This does not re-require any physical presence of any person to monitor.

Perimeter protection is an intelligent security and surveillance system which uses video analytics to automatically detects a person who crosses the perimeter at day/night and buzz the alarm. This is a very cost effective solution to provide security of a house at night.
