ABET, incorporated as the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Inc., is a non-governmental organization that accredits post-secondary education programs in "applied science, computing, engineering, and engineering technology".

The accreditation of these programs occurs mainly in the United States but also internationally. As of October 2012, around 3,278 programs are accredited, distributed over more than 670 universities and colleges in 23 countries.

ABET is the recognized U.S. accreditor of college and university programs in applied science, computing, engineering, and technology. ABET also provides leadership internationally through workshops, consultancies, memoranda of understanding, and mutual recognition agreements, such as the Washington Accord. ABET has been recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) since 1997.

AACSB- The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) was founded in 1916 to accredit schools of business. The first accreditations took place in 1919. The current mission is to advance quality management education worldwide through accreditation, thought leadership, and value-added services.It is regarded as the benchmark for business school quality among the academic community.[3] During the International Conference and Annual Meeting (ICAM) in 2013, AACSB members unanimously approved the 2013 business and accounting Accreditation Standards (the standards were last evaluated and changed in 2003). The 2013 Standards ensure that business schools who achieve accreditation are best in class in how they meet the needs of their core stakeholders-students and employers.

ACBSP - The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), formerly the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs, is a U.S. organization offering accreditation services to business programs focused on teaching and learning.

Based in Overland Park, Kansas (a suburb of Kansas City), ACBSP was created to fulfill a need for specialized accreditation by colleges and universities with business schools and programs.
