AUTOMATIC NUMBER PLATE RECOGNITION SYSTEM

In last couple of decades, the number of vehicles has increased drastically. With this increase, it is becoming difficult to keep track of each vehicle for purpose of law enforcement and traffic management. Number plate recognition is used increasingly nowadays for automatic toll collection, maintaining traffic activities and law enforcement. A digital camera is used to capture video and feed it to the system. The software processes each frame individually and provides the coordinates of location with maximum probability of having a number plate.

SOLAR BASED UTILITY SYSTEM

With fuel hikes making news, solar energy is used to have the desired constant voltage. The project aims to make a simple solar charger which can be used to run day to day appliances such as fan, bulbs etc. Solar chargers are simple, portable and ready to use devices which can be used in remote rural areas. Going solar can solve the problems of cutting down on carbon emission and dependence on conventional fuels to solve the problem of energy crisis.

WIRELESS NOTICE BOARD DISPLAY USING GSM

This project presents a digital notice board. The idea behind this project is to provide its users with a simple, fast and reliable way to put up important notices in an LCD where the user can send a message to be displayed in the LCD. The message can be send through any GSM based device e.g. mobile.It uses a microcontroller for system control, GSM technology for communication and sends SMS containing the message through android application.

SELF BALANCING ROBOT WITH EDGE DETECTION & BLUETOOTH CONTROL

The transportation industry has been progressing at a very fast pace and is striving towards providing an easy and comfortable ride at an affordable price. The aim of this project is to build a mobile platform primarily for physically disabled person. It is being achieved by building a two-wheel based vehicle which can intuitively be driven by tilting the body in the desired direction of travel.

LIGHT DETECTION RECOGNITION (LDR) BASED HOME AUTOMATION SYSTEM

The efficient usage of electricity has been in high demands since decades due to the limited resources of it. This has reinforced some small level applications of microcontroller based switching of bulbs which has been represented in this project. This involves the sensing of darkness (when sunlight goes off in the evening) using LDR (Light detecting resistor) which passes this information to the microprocessor and then microcontroller commands the electromechanical relay to turn on the electric bulb mount on the board. This whole process shows the automated operation and controlling of electric bulb and therefore the efficient and controlled usage of electricity.
